The Weft / Weave Hair Extensions is the kindest method of extensions as it is only attached to a few rows of your hair and the weight of the weft is all evenly distributed so it does not cause any damage to your natural hair – as long as you follow all of the aftercare advice given to you during your consultation and fitting

Will my Weft / Weave Hair Extensions hurt?

Your Weft / Weave Hair Extensions should not hurt, however, after the installation process they may feel a little uncomfortable as the hair will be relatively tight to ensure the weave is secure and has be sewn in properly. During the first 24-48 hours of having your Weft / Weave Hair Extensions fitted, it will feel a little tight, but this does ease off.

How long does an Weft / Weave Hair Extensions last?

The hair for the Weft / Weave Hair Extensions typically lasts from around 3 to 6 months, however, with the right care you can get a little longer out of your hair. We would normally recommend having them removed and refitted after six to eight weeks as the extensions will have grown down and you may start to feel a tugging sensation from the hair.

When it comes to any type of hair extensions over washing your hair is not good for them. We usually recommend to our clients to wash their hair once or twice a week if they can wait that long. Dry shampoo will also be your best friend when it comes to Weft / Weave Hair Extensions, so make sure to stock up.
